Sarah Abbott MW is one of the UK's leading voices on Georgian wine. Founder and director of Swirl Wine Group, she has led the National Wine Agency of Georgia's UK trade and marketing programme (GWUK) since 2017 — building Georgia's profile across national grocery, independent retail, and on-trade.

Sarah is also co-founder of The Old Vine Conference. She writes and lectures on old vines, terroir, and the language of tasting, and judges for the IWSC and other international competitions. Her work has been central to establishing Georgia as one of the most distinctive and serious wine origins in the UK market.
