The Georgian Wine Trade and Press Tasting returns to London on 23rd May 2023.

The expanded tasting and range of wines reflects the growth of Georgian wine in the UK. The tasting will include importer tables, a free-pour themed tasting of unsigned talent, and a delegation of winery owners and wine makers from WiWi (Women of Georgian Wine).

The tasting is taking place at The Vinyl Factory event space within Phonica Records, Soho, and will run from 11:00 to 16:45.

This is a tasting for professionals from wine, hospitality and media. We will ask for details of your professional credentials, and your online registration is subject to our final confirmation.

If your interest in Georgian Wine is personal rather than professional, the October Festival of Georgian Wine at Dartington is open to all!

For those unable to attend the tasting in person, we are offering a tutored tasting of 10 wines, led by Master of Wine Sarah Abbott via zoom.  This will showcase the different winemaking styles in Georgia, including a focus on Qvevri wines, and take a tour of the different winemaking regions of this unique country.   Attendees will be sent 100ml samples of the wines to be tasted in advance of the session.   If you are interested in attending this, please email: madeleine@swirlwinegroup.com
