Wines of Georgia Trade Tasting

Tuesday 22nd June 2021

Trivet Restaurant
36 Snowsfields, London SE1 3SU

Important information for your safety and comfort

We have taken the decision to plan this event with current COVID-19 hygiene and social-distancing measures remaining in place, given the risk that full lifting of restrictions may be delayed beyond the original 21st June deadline.

This tasting is a permitted business meeting taking place in a venue operating at less than 50% capacity. There will be plenty of room and excellent ventilation.

  • The format is a walk around tasting. Please note, wines will be poured for you by a small team stationed at the different walk-around stations. Pourers have been instructed to ensure that the bottle neck does not touch the glass rim.

  • Disposable personal spittoons will be available for every guest. The procedure for their hygienic disposable and replacement will be explained on the day.

  • Please bring your own pen.

  • We will invite you to take your tasting booklet and glass on arrival.

  • Please respect your booked time slot and leave promptly at the end of your session so that we can prepare for the next guests and maintain social distancing.

  • There is an outdoor terrace at Trivet for longer chats pre and post-tasting.

  • Plenty of antiviral and antibacterial hand gel will be available.

  • The Swirl Team will all have taken COVID-19 Lateral Flow Tests on the day before the tasting.

  • If you show any symptoms of COVID-19 or believe that you may have been exposed to the virus, please do not attend the tasting. Visit the nhs website if you need further information on symptoms.

If you have registered but are now unable to or uneasy at attending the tasting, please get in touch and we will find a way to help you taste and explore Georgian wine in a way that works for you.

We thank you sincerely for your understanding and patience.
