Trade Tasting: visit in-person or join remotely via our virtual masterclass.

The 2021 Georgian Wine UK trade tasting offers two alternatives for trade and media professionals to taste and learn about Georgian wine. 

Option 1: In-person tasting at Trivet Restaurant, London, from 11am.

For colleagues able to attend an in-person tasting, we are presenting a walk-around tasting of over 100 different Georgian Wines.  Wines will be shown in two zones: the Imported Zone will feature wines available in the UK from importers, and the Unsigned Zone will show wines from producers seeking an importer.

The in-person tasting is a walk-around format with 2-hour timed slots, so as to maintain social distancing. Please select your time slot at the time of registration.

At the walk-around tasting, Sarah Abbott MW will also lead a number of 20-minute drop-in 'wine walks' on key themes and aspects of Georgian wine styles.

Option 2: Virtual Masterclass at 10am-11am.

For colleagues who are unable to attend the in-person tasting, we offer a virtual masterclass on Georgian wine that will be live streamed from Trivet. The masterclass will be presented by Sarah Abbott MW and Isa Bal MS and will explore key styles of  Georgian wine, and their production and market context. Places are limited and colleagues are asked to register their interest. We will then confirm places and send out tasting samples. The masterclass will also be recorded and published for viewing on demand.  Please note that samples can only be sent to UK addresses.
